Managing a small business is challenging, especially in today’s digital age. Yet with the help of the NSW Business Connect program, a digital bootcamp will become available to small business owners and entrepreneurs in Blacktown.
This is exciting news for small business owners who are struggling to engage their audience digitally. Almost 90% of Australians interact through social media and on the internet, meaning it’s easier to reach their audience online. As technology and innovation advances, small business owners are finding it hard to keep up, with many losing the confidence and lacking the knowledge to obtain the right skills and strategies for digital engagement.
The NSW Business Connect is a dedicated and personalized program that offers trusted advice to small business owners. This program promotes heavily subsidized digital bootcamps and advisories to all small businesses in metropolitan and rural regions of NSW. Appointed by the government as “digital specialists”, NetStripes are the experts who run these bootcamps, with a commitment to assist small businesses in attaining the right digital tools, strategies and confidence in preparing their business for success.
This digital bootcamp will be held on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of October. Essential topics covered include Small Business Digital Readiness, Growth Hacking for Small Business and Lean start-up. If you’re a small business owner and ready to take your digital skills up a notch (or many), don’t miss this opportunity!
Celebrate With BBN
Blacktown businesses celebrate Christmas on December 5, 2018 at the Blacktown Workers Club.
After a busy year networking with each other, it's time to celebrate and get to know your fellow business people socially.
Having more than 17 years under our belt and having deservedly earned the title as the "Most Successful Networking Organisation in the Greater Blacktown Area", it's the right time to relax and celebrate.
This meeting traditionally does not have a sponsor and so attendees will pay an entry fee of $10-00 per person to join the celebrations. This means there is no business keynote speaker, just a bunch of fun loving people.
Our emcee for the evening is BBN Guiding Star, Robyn Atkins.
